Clean-up work has already begun with crews restoring utilities and clearing roads. Local authorities are advising those returning to the flood affected area to exercise caution.
From an insurance perspective, we urge all those returning to assess or clean their premises, to document the damage as best you can. Using a phone camera to record things like water lines and specific damaged items can make all of the difference at the time of the claim and once completed, download these files from your phone for safe keeping.
