Session 1: Building Back Before

This session begins with a review of Property Level Resilience (PLR) surveying. You’ll gain a clear understanding of the different types of flooding and their varying impacts on properties. Finally, we’ll explore practical examples of “dry proofing” & “wet proofing” flood protection products.
Session 2: Out-of-the-Box Thinking – Making the Uninsurable Insurable

Are we repeating past mistakes? This session challenges us to think differently about flood mitigation. We’ll explore why mitigation should be seen as an opportunity rather than just a cost.
Session 3: Innovation – Products, Insurance, and Outcomes

Join us for our final webinar which focuses on innovation in flood resilience. Focusing on latest products, smart insurance options, refined processes, and tangible outcomes.

Who is John Alexander.
In 2008, John established a new flood protection company to address delivering property level protection (PLP) flooding issues. John’s experience in flooding issues led to Aquobex, where John played an integral role in developing and patenting the world’s first residential flood door, and concept of the Aquobex 7-step methodology for the end-to-end delivery of flood mitigation solutions.
John has over 15 years experience in delivering PLP solutions in the UK and is now working on extending this to include flood resilient repair solutions for the UK and Australian markets.
John loves to share knowledge from his vast experience in this field and is looking forward to presenting the Spotlight on Flood webinar series to you.
