Improved Strata Comparisons

At LMI Group we are continually looking at ways to enhance the information available for our subscribers to

easily compare policies within the market place. 

 

To align to the market’s needs, the PolicyComparison team have combined and enhanced our Residential Strata and

Commercial Strata comparisons together to create one new Strata Product Class to allow all Strata policies to be easily

 compared in the one place.

 

The Strata Product Class incorporates a range of new cells to address the expanding Property covers now

available under Strata policy wordings.  These updates will now enable a more comprehensive comparison

of these covers and the benefit limits that may apply to each policy wording.

Examples of additional features now available, include:

·         Insured Events now addresses Storm Surge and Tsunami cover

·         Related Benefits have been added, including:

o   Capital Additions / Alterations

o   Damage by Emergency Services

o   Lot Owner’s Travel Costs

o   Unauthorised Use of Utility Services

·         Inclusion of Basis of Settlement cell for Property Cover and Policy Conditions

·         Temporary Accommodation and Loss of Rent covers are now shown separately

·         The Cover Section has been expanded to show the additional costs associated with Temporary

·         Accommodation and the extended covers available following the denial of access to the Strata

          premises
