LMI Group's Claim Services Division were appointed yesterday shortly after a fire engulfed a large two storey retail shop in Auburn, NSW.

The role of LMI is to mitigate the loss for the Insured, in this case the landlord, and prepare their insurance claim for both the property and business interruption/loss or rent claims in accordance with the insurance policy wordings.

Like many claims, LMI was recommended by the Insured's broker who was keen to ensure that their client received expert advice at this stressful time.

Steve Smith, National Manager Claims, and Fellow of the International Institute of Claims Preparers, is heading the team from LMI.
