LMI Group’s Claims Services division, Loss Management International (“LMI”), is responding to a number of claims arising from the floods in New South Wales and Victoria.

New South Wales State Manager Steve Smith said, “I am personally handling claims in Dubbo and Queanbeyan for our National Account clients. These clients are commercially important to insurance brokers or insurers and have been referred to us as they require preferential treatment regardless of the circumstances” . LMI guarantees such clients will be attended to first in any emergency. This is comforting for the Insured and their insurance adviser at the best of times, and unbelievably valuable during a wide spread crisis like the floods.

Other members of the strong LMI claims team, headed by Graham Cox, are attending to claims in three states following the heavy rains and flooding. “All claims that have been reported to us have been attended to and repairs and/or mitigating strategies implemented”, Mr Cox said.

With further storms and wet weather predicted for this summer, all 7 LMI Group offices around Australia will be staffed during the festive period to provide maximum service to our customers.
