LMI Group’s claims services division, Loss Management International ("LMI"), were appointed to assist in the preparation of a claim resulting from a major fire that occurred over the weekend, which virtually destroyed the 140 year old Isle of Wight Hotel in Philip Island.

The owners engaged LMI upon the advice of insurance brokers. LMI will be providing advice on loss mitigation strategies, including relocation to temporary premises, and calculating both the material damage and business interruption claims.
