Over the last week, LMI Group websites were subjected to various attacks, including a Denial of Service. Our security protocols are deliberately conservative, and our response is to immediately shut down all access to our online systems. We apologise for any inconvenience, and confirm that LMI Group is committed to giving the highest level of support to all clients. We recognise your dependence on our services, however, we would not tolerate a situation where you could possibly receive a corrupted service.

We confirm that LMI Group has in place business continuity plans (“BCPs”) for all operations, which incorporate approved incident responses (stored online at LMI ContinuityCoach). In accordance with the approved response to a security threat, all websites were taken down in order to defend the attacks and ensure the integrity of all data and services. LMI Group consultancy services, including claims preparation, loss adjusting, loss management, risk assessment and sum insured reviews were unaltered.

Normal service was resumed after extensive verification processes were applied, including stability and performance testing. Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience, and trust that you understand the necessity for this course of action, and our short disruption to normal services
