LMI NZ has been appointed after a fire totally destroyed the premises of a livestock supply firm in Gore. At the height of the blaze, more than 90 firefighters from 6 stations over the lower South Island were on site.

The fire is believed to have started in a switchboard.

LMI will be providing advice on mitigating the property loss and business interruption and on policy coverage and working with the client to prepare their material damage and business interruption claims.

Like many claims, LMI was recommended by the Insured's broker who was keen to ensure that their client received expert advice at this stressful time. Tony Howie, Manager of LMI Group (NZ) Ltd and Fellow of the International Institute of Claims Preparers, is heading the team from LMI.
