Insurance Brokers Code of Practice
LMI College are pleased to announce the release of the updated Insurance Brokers’ Code of Practice Course, which unpacks NIBA’s 2022 Insurance Brokers’ Code of Practice.
The LMI College team have updated the existing course on the CPD portal, to include the recent changes made to the Code.
We have also prepared a separate course which highlights the recent changes only. If you have completed the full Code course already, we suggest you review the ‘Summary of Changes Only’, available under the Courses tab on the CPD portal.
On the LMI College CPD Portal, you will find the following courses:
- Insurance Brokers Code of Practice_Nov 2023 (full course, including recent changes – 1.5 CPD points)
- Insurance Brokers Code of Practice_Summary of Changes Nov 2023 (0 CPD points)
The 2022 Insurance Brokers’ Code of Practice (the Code) sets out standards of conduct for all members of the National Insurance Brokers’ Association (NIBA) and non-members who have subscribed to the Code, as such the LMI College course:
- Outlines the Code changes, and provide participants with greater insights and understanding of the Code
- Includes an assessment providing participants with the opportunity to obtain 1.5 CPD points and a Certificate of Completion, both providing evidence of compliance with industry standards, and of competency with the Code
We hope you enjoy this course. If you have any queries regarding education, or would like to have a chat about your training needs, please contact your workplace training supervisor or any of the LMI College team.
